Sensonics SENTRY Machine Protection Unit - Intelligent Embedded Machine Monitoring and Protection System
Sensonics SENTRY Machine Protection Unit - The Sensonics SENTRY condition monitoring and machine protection system has been developed based on the highest operational safety and most flexible task-specific configurability. During installation, thanks to the versatility of the intelligent (microprocessor-based) modules, the system can be configured to meet the requirements of even the most unique tasks, providing exceptionally high reliability in ensuring the complete protection of rotating machinery and equipment. The virtually maintenance-free system performs continuous self-checks on each channel and the attached measuring circuits for safety. The Sensonics SENTRY system can be applied to any type of rotating machinery, such as electric motors, pumps, fans, turbines, generators, compressors, mills, grinders, mixers.

System ConfigurationThe Sensonics SENTRY system has a modular structure. Each channel module is completely independent, galvanically isolated, equipped with its own power supply, its own Intel microprocessor, preamplifier corresponding to the attached sensor or process signal, sensor power supply or signal conditioning, analog and relay outputs, as well as front-facing bar display, indicator LEDs, digital display, and control buttons. There are channel modules for receiving vibration, displacement, temperature, speed, and other process signals, as well as special - capable of performing complex operations - multi-input measuring/evaluating modules.
