Larson Davis 824 Sound Level Meter - The Larson Davis LD 824 device combines the capabilities of a Class 1 precision sound level meter and a real-time noise analyzer in a compact, robust, user-friendly handheld instrument. With the menu system, test settings can be prepared for any unique measurement task with just a few button presses. In addition to predefined settings, custom setting sets can be easily created via the graphical display or even through a PC.

The LD 824 is an exceptionally flexible measuring instrument: in addition to 1/1, 1/3, and digital octave analysis, it also offers 400-line spectrum analysis (FFT). Furthermore, fast data collection and automatic storage functions are available for capturing transients (RTA option). In time trend recording mode, 38 selectable broadband and spectral parameters can be stored. The instrument saves 6 pieces of Lns, RTA Leq, RTA Max, or RTA Min spectral data (SSA option) in each time interval.

Additional - user-friendly - capabilities include: backlit graphical display and keyboard, Windows-based PC software for instrument setup, data download, evaluation, and export to spreadsheet software. The instrument can also directly print to a serial printer.
