The Guide Sensmart PV400 gas-detecting thermal camera is a photon detector handheld thermal camera designed primarily for professional industrial experts specializing in gas detection. Everything is provided for this purpose: the explosion-proof design, a 320x256 pixel photon detector with a wavelength range suitable for gas detection (3.2 ... 3.5 µm), 0.01°C (10 mK) temperature resolution, and a 50 Hz refresh rate. With such a thermal camera, the leakage of most hydrocarbon gases (e.g., methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane, hexane, heptane, octane, ethylene, propylene, isoprene, methanol, ethanol, butanone, benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, etc.) can be detected. Even leaks as small as ≤ 0.001 ml/s can be detected!
The thermal camera provides both "standard" and "gas leak detection" modes, and its versatile functions facilitate data collection and on-site evaluation - up to the creation of reports! For detecting leaks in distant locations, in addition to the standard lens, two different telephoto lenses are also available. The high capacity of the thermal camera's battery allows for continuous measurement activities exceeding 4 hours.
Large Memory Capacity
The device saves data in the 64 GB internal memory and on removable 128 - 256 GB SD memory cards, allowing users to save as many thermal images (and videos) as they want. Each file can contain not only thermal images but also digital photos and up to 60 seconds of audio recordings to facilitate later identification.
PC Connection
Connecting PV400 thermal cameras to a PC is extremely simple: thanks to USB-C and Ethernet, as well as wireless (WiFi and Bluetooth) communication, images and videos can be easily transferred to other devices, and remote control of the thermal cameras is also straightforward. Optionally, 5G communication is also possible.
Image Processing and Archiving Software
The device comes with Windows-based software that enables post-image processing, report generation, and data archiving. Its use is easy to master, allowing for quick viewing of measurement results and automated report generation.
