Rugged and compact design
The small (only 46x56x90 mm) Optris PI 640 G7 installed thermal camera is primarily designed for industrial applications (as an installed thermal camera): it has a compact structure, an IP67-rated metal housing, making it resistant to even the harshest conditions.
Operation, remote control
The Optris PI 640 G7 installed thermal camera can be easily controlled from a PC. It features a USB 2.0 standard interface, through which, with the PI connect software, remote control of the camera, up to 32Hz thermal image data transfer, and camera power supply can be achieved.
PC software
The versatile, 32-bit, Windows XP/Vista/Win7-compatible thermography software PI connect developed by Optris is specifically designed for industrial applications. The basic package of the software (included with the thermal cameras) is suitable for evaluating stored thermal images, image documentation, and providing live remote control of the thermal camera.
