Rugged and Compact Design
The compact (only 46x56x90 mm) PI 640i thermal camera was primarily developed for industrial applications (as an installed thermal camera): it has a compact design, a metal housing with IP67 protection, making it resistant to even the harshest conditions.
Operation, Remote Control
Operating the PI 640i thermal camera remotely from a PC can be easily achieved in various ways. The camera features a USB 2.0 standard interface, through which, using the PI connect software, remote control of the camera, up to 32Hz thermal image data transfer, and camera power supply can be managed.
PC Software
The versatile, 32-bit, Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win10 compatible thermography software PIX connect developed by Optris is specially designed for industrial applications. The basic package of the software (included with the thermal cameras) is suitable for evaluating stored thermal images, image documentation, and providing live remote control of the thermal camera.
