Compact Optris PI450-T010 thermal imaging system for fever detection
The German Optris GmbH offers the most accurate thermal imaging system suitable for fever detection, consisting of the Optris PI450-T010 high absolute accuracy installed thermal camera and the Optris BR20AR reference radiator. This combination allows for high-quality real-time thermal image capture and, with the thermal camera's 40 mK thermal resolution, enables temperature measurement suitable for fever detection with an absolute accuracy of +/- 0.5 °C. Due to its small size and industrial design, the PI450-T010 is not only among the most rugged (and smallest) thermal cameras but also easy to install.

Rugged and compact design
The compact PI450 installed thermal camera is primarily designed for industrial applications: it has a compact structure, a metal housing with IP67 protection, making it resistant to harsh conditions. The T010 version (together with the Optris BR 20AR reference radiator) is capable of an absolute measurement accuracy of +/-1°C, making this system suitable for fever detection.
Operation, remote control
Remote control of the PI450-T010 thermal camera from a PC is easily achievable. The USB 2.0 standard interface is available, through which, using the PI connect software, remote control of the camera, up to 80Hz thermal image data transfer, and camera power supply can be managed. Optionally, power supply and data readout via USB-->GigE server are also available.
PC software
The versatile 32-/64-bit PI connect thermography software developed by Optris (included with the thermal cameras) is compatible with Windows Win XP/Win7/Win10 and is used for evaluating stored thermal images, image documentation, and live remote control of the thermal camera. It is delivered with a pre-defined user interface specifically for fever detection and alarm settings.
