The PCB 682C05 device is primarily used for connecting industrial piezoelectric acceleration sensors with built-in charge amplifiers in ICP design to process control, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems. The units enable existing systems to provide continuous, vibration-based bearing monitoring.
The device is available in single-channel version for receiving a 100 mV/g sensitivity ICP piezoelectric vibration acceleration sensor with built-in charge amplifier. The device provides sensor power supply.
The PCB 682C05 device outputs two 4...20 mA current signals: one for vibration level (vibration velocity, scaled as peak or RMS value), and one for bearing condition-proportional filtered vibration acceleration signal. The latter can have a selectable lower frequency limit of 1 kHz or 5 kHz.
