Sensonics DN2604 Machine Protection Unit - Installed Vibration/Temperature Monitoring and Protection Unit

Sensonics DN2604 Machine Protection Unit - The Sensonics DN2604 type vibration and temperature monitoring and machine protection unit ensures complete safety of the supervised machine. The device is virtually maintenance-free and performs continuous self-checks on its measuring channels and attached measuring circuits for safety purposes. The unit is capable of accommodating one ICP-powered (with built-in charge amplifier) piezoelectric vibration acceleration sensor and one temperature sensor (RTD, PT100, or 10mV/°C). The monitoring unit of type DN2604 can be applied to all types of rotating machinery, such as electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, mills, crushers, mixers.

Description

The DN2604 device processes the sensor signal according to the set measurement range and signal integration, then outputs current signals proportional to vibration/temperature. The buffered sensor signal is available on the BNC connector for further evaluations.

The operation of the two alarm relay outputs per processed vibration/temperature signal is based on the appropriate signal levels. If any vibration characteristic exceeds the set warning or protection threshold, the corresponding warning or protection LED lights up, and the respective relay contact also switches.

The current values and set limits can be viewed on the built-in digital display. Technical Data
