Commtest vbOnline vibration monitoring remote monitoring machine protection system
The commtest vbOnline multi-channel vibration monitoring remote supervision system has been developed for monitoring and protecting a wide variety of rotating machinery, such as fans, pumps, compressors, mills, crushers, mixers, etc. The condition of the monitored machines can be viewed and on-site vibration data (Ethernet) can be analyzed through the commtest vbOnline system - and wireless communication can also be implemented.
The commtest vbOnline unit can receive signals from sixteen or even thirty-two ICP-type (with built-in charge amplifier) piezoelectric vibration acceleration and velocity sensors, as well as eddy current displacement sensors, AC/DC voltages, and 4...20 mA transmitters. In addition, four tachometer signals can be connected to the unit. To accommodate a larger number of channels, multiple commtest vbOnline units can be networked.
FeaturesThe commtest vbOnline processes the signals from the sensors according to the set measurement range and signal integration, operates the built-in relays and indicator LEDs, and provides information (status indicators, spectra, timestamps, log data) to the monitoring, archiving, and diagnostic software running on the PC.
The commtest vbOnline unit comes with the Ascent Level-3 PC software, which can continuously query and display the data recorded by the on-site unit and the status of each channel. The software allows remote control and configuration of the commtest vbOnline device, enabling settings such as channel-specific alarm levels, operation of relay outputs, and configuration of data recording and logging times via the PC.
Data recording can be time- and event-triggered. The condition of the monitored machine can be continuously monitored, warnings and alarm signals can be listed and acknowledged remotely. If required, alarms and status notifications can be automatically forwarded via email.
Both current and stored (archived) data can be viewed in the PC software. In addition to log data and trend plots, there is also the possibility to display and perform high-level analysis of timestamps and spectra.
