The VMI M80 vibration monitoring machine diagnostic system is a multi-channel automatic vibration and process data collector, which can be configured on both hardware and software sides within wide limits to receive signals and data from various industrial process sensors. The VMI M80 vibration monitoring machine diagnostic system is a unique unit with a minimum of 8 / maximum of 80 high-frequency signal channels (e.g., for vibration measurement), 4 speed inputs, and 8 temperature inputs specifically suitable for continuous condition monitoring of rotating machinery. Expandability

The VMI M80 machine monitoring system for continuous machine monitoring-vibration analysis and data collection system was primarily developed for the continuous supervision of decentralized (isolatedly installed) manufacturing equipment and machine groups. The modular and expandable system allows versatile programmable and customizable remote monitoring and remote diagnostics. Each independent unit consists of a communication module and at least one measurement module. However, due to its expandability, you can add up to 7 more measurement modules, meaning that when developing the system, you can access up to 80 measurement channels via a LAN cable! This provides a flexible and continuously adaptable system that fits our growing and changing needs and technologies. The complete system can consist of a maximum of 256 units - meaning that we can handle up to 20,480 vibration measurements and the same number of temperature measurements simultaneously!

Network Access

The units are Ethernet-based, but can also connect to a Wi-Fi network if needed. The units have their own IP addresses, password-protected against unauthorized access! Through a web browser, a continuous display-logging interface is accessible.

Online (Live) Vibration Analysis Capabilities

The units perform rapid data retrieval on all channels, continuously displaying their current values and any limit exceedances (such as machine and bearing conditions, temperatures) on an easily understandable graphical internet browsing interface. Therefore, with the help of the internet, our machines' condition can be monitored continuously from anywhere in the world (of course, with appropriate permissions)! Not only current data, but also the trends, time waveforms, spectra, and envelope curves of selected channels can be displayed via the internet browser. This way, we can get detailed information about our machine's condition, even identify our machine's problem through vibration analysis - all from thousands of kilometers away! While viewing real-time data and conditions, automatic data recording takes place, each defined by the user per channel. For safety, all essential data (including spectra and time waveforms) is immediately recorded on the unit's own (replaceable) SD memory card, so even in case of a complete - longer-term - Ethernet network failure, no data loss occurs. Subsequently (or simultaneously), the data can be transmitted to a server or directly integrated into database-based offline machine diagnostic software for further analysis or reporting purposes. Data import into the databases of CXSpectra software is available, and "importers" into other software can also be developed upon customer request. The configuration of the M80 system itself is done via Ethernet (thus even remotely), with different configuration levels password-protected. Unauthorized persons cannot access or modify the settings. The user interface and manual are multilingual (including Hungarian), making configuration a "child's play" along with its logical structure.
