Sensonics DN2603 Machine Protection Unit - Single-channel installed shaft position monitoring machine protection unit

Sensonics DN2603 Machine Protection Unit - The Sensonics DN2603 type single-channel shaft position monitoring machine protection unit ensures complete safety of the monitored machine. The device is practically maintenance-free, performing continuous self-checks on its measuring channels and attached measuring circuits for operational safety. The Sensonics DN2603 unit is suitable for receiving one eddy current displacement sensor (shaft position sensor). The Sensonics DN2603 type monitoring machine protection unit can be applied to all types of rotating machines, primarily those with journal bearings, such as turbines, high-performance centrifugal pumps, and compressors.

Description

The Sensonics DN2603 device processes the sensor signal according to the set measurement range, then outputs current signals proportional to displacement on both channels. The buffered sensor signal is available on the BNC connector for further evaluation.

The operation of the two alarm relay outputs per channel is based on positive and negative displacements from the zero position. If the displacement exceeds the set warning or protective threshold, the warning or protective LED lights up, and the corresponding relay contact switches.

The current value and set thresholds can be viewed on the built-in digital display.
