Sensonics ME9603 Machine Protection Unit - Single-channel installed shaft position and shaft vibration monitoring machine protection unit

Sensonics ME9603 Machine Protection Unit - The Sensonics ME9603 shaft position and shaft vibration monitoring machine protection unit ensures complete safety of the supervised machine. The device is virtually maintenance-free, performing continuous self-checks on its measuring channel and the attached measuring circuit for operational safety. The Sensonics ME9603 unit is capable of receiving eddy current displacement sensor signals. The Sensonics ME9603 type machine protection unit can be applied to all types of rotating machinery, primarily sleeve-bearing machines, such as turbines, high-performance centrifugal pumps, and compressors.

Description

The Sensonics ME9603 processes the sensor signal according to the set measurement range and signal integration. As a result, the Sensonics ME9603 provides a DC voltage and current signal proportional to the shaft position at the terminal. For evaluating shaft vibration, the buffered sensor signal - alternating voltage - is available at the BNC connector (or at the terminal if selected). The operation of the two alarm relay outputs is based on the value of the selected signal type. If this exceeds the set alarm threshold, an LED lights up, and if it remains above the threshold during the set delay time, a relay contact also switches.
